Every V-ARI system begins with radio

Our solution connects to a Motorola MOTOTRBO digital radio, which serves as your gateway between traditional push-to-talk and the power of AI. If you’re unsure what that means or what you currently have, don’t worry, we’ll guide you every step of the way.

Built for THE Radios You Already Have

V-ARI was designed with backwards compatibility in mind, supporting Motorola MOTOTRBO radios nearly 20 years old. This broad compatibility lets you extend the life of your existing equipment, maximize your investment, and unlock powerful new capabilities without replacing your hardware.

V-ARI supports a wide range of Motorola digital radios, including the R2, R5, R7, ION, SL3500e, SL3000, CP100d, CP200d, XPR 3000e, XPR 5000e, XPR 2500, CM200d, CM300d, and BPR50.

Are new radios better?

Yes, but V-ARI still works great with what you already have. Newer models like the Motorola R7 feature AI-driven noise suppression, helping eliminate background sounds so every word is heard clearly. And while that enhances performance, V-ARI is fully compatible with earlier digital radios, ensuring your current equipment continues to deliver value.

With support for WAVE-compatible devices that operate over Wi-Fi and LTE, your system has a clear path for future growth, giving you flexibility today and room to expand tomorrow.

Hardware FAQs and Helpful Insights

We’ve compiled the most common questions to help you understand how V-ARI connects, what’s supported today, and what’s coming soon.

If you currently work with a two-way radio provider, they can confirm whether your system is digital or analog. You can also reach out directly to ET Fusion, and we’ll help guide you through the process. In most cases, your land mobile radio license will also indicate the frequency and whether your system is analog or digital.

Yes. V-ARI currently operates by connecting to a mobile radio configured in control station mode. In North America, this is typically the Motorola XPR 5550e, though models may vary internationally. The radio must also run the latest firmware to ensure full compatibility. ET Fusion or your local Motorola dealer can help confirm and provide the correct setup.

We are currently evaluating integration with P25 radio systems and expect to have a commercial version available in 2026. If you have an immediate need or would like to participate in early testing, please contact ET Fusion to discuss options.

We do not currently offer a standalone on-premise version of V-ARI. However, we are actively evaluating on-device language models to make this possible in the future. If you have a specific need or deployment requirement, please contact ET Fusion to discuss potential roadmap options.
